Overview

The B Well Coalition launches the national pilot of its Mental Wellbeing Culture Assessment Tool on Monday, October 4th 2021.

It is not a psychological assessment tool—rather it’s a cultural assessment tool that you can use as a starting point for better understanding mental wellbeing in your organisation, or to evaluate existing work being done to improve mental wellbeing across your organisation.

Insights from your workplace will contribute to a nationally aggregated report, with organisations anonymised. You will also receive your own individual organisation report. The Tool isn’t about "best and worst", instead it’s about creating a community of understanding amongst organisations passionate about improving the mental wellbeing of their people.

The Tool is quick, engaging, independent, anonymous, and impactful.

The research and analysis partner for the Tool pilot is Ipsos—one of the world’s largest market research companies. For a preview of the Tool, please click here.

TIMELINE

· Registration period: 1st September–October 15th 2021
· Survey period: 18th October–December 17th 2021
· Analysis by Ipsos: December 2021–January 2022
· Individual organisation reports released: Early 2022
· National aggregated report released: Early 2022
(Dates subject to change)

Organisations nominate how long their survey is open for during the period of October 4th–November 30th. For some organisations, they may wish to have a “blitz” where their survey is open for just a week or two. Other organisations may wish to have their survey open for the whole time. Open periods may be changed as needed.

NB: It will take up to 5 business days for your organisation’s unique survey to be created by Ipsos and go live.

The SURVEY

The survey is simple, quick, and anonymous. It takes, on average, about 8–10 minutes to complete—with most questions in a likert scale format punctuated by open-ended fields.

Structure
The survey can loosely be broken 5 key sections:
1) Reflection on self
2) Reflection on immediate team and environment
3) Reflection on wider organisation
4) Understanding of mental wellbeing
5) Demographic and segmentation questions

NB: All demographic and segmentation questions are optional—allowing participants to share as much or as little as they're comfortable with.

(A preview of the survey and its questions will be available soon)
